Our aim is to use state-of-the-art innovation and expertise in the fields of medicines innovation, health technologies, data analytics and artificial intelligence, and the workforce and leadership.
Through this, we'll promote the delivery of new models of care focusing on prevention, and empowering individuals and populations to live as well as possible at home and in their communities.
Our vision
Our vision is to support the health and care sector to become fully integrated and data-driven. We'll focus on quality and safety, efficiency, and ensuring the workforce has the necessary skills to respond to the rapidly changing health and care environment.

Postgraduate research coursesNHS discounts for postgraduate research
At Strathclyde, we offer a wide range of health and care related postgraduate research opportunities.
NHS staff members can receive a 25% fees discount for our PhD programmes in Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and the programme in Public Health & Health Policy.
A 25% fees discount also applies for NHS staff in the Professional Doctorate in Humanities & Social Science (Advanced Practise).
In the health science area we offer NHS staff a 25% fees discount on PhD programmes in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences as well as a 25% fees discount on part-time PhD programmes in Mathematics, Statistics and in Computer & Information Sciences.
