The cost of postgraduate study at Strathclyde depends on the course you鈥檙e on, your level of study and where you permanently live.
To determine your fee status we鈥檒l use the information you provided in your application. We鈥檒l decide if you should be classed as 鈥淗ome鈥� or 鈥淥verseas鈥� for fee purposes.
If we鈥檙e unable to determine your fee status from the information in your application, we鈥檒l send you a Fee Assessment Form. You should complete the form and return it to us as soon as possible. You鈥檒l be classed as 鈥淥verseas鈥� until we receive your completed Fee Assessment Form and are able to re-assess your status.

Your tuition fees
As part of your application, you鈥檙e required to tell us how you intend to fund your study.
If you have secured sponsorship, you should upload a letter from your sponsor which confirms the amount they will pay.
Self-funded students are required to pay full tuition fees at (or before) the time of registration or set up a formal instalment plan, the first instalment being due at the time of registration. For full information on instalment plans, please see the .

Course deposits
For certain courses, you鈥檒l need to pay a deposit to secure your offer of a place.
If you鈥檙e a sponsored applicant you need to provide a letter from your sponsor which:
- shows how much will be paid for tuition fees and living costs
- shows how long you鈥檒l be sponsored
- Is on headed paper with an appropriate signature
