Personal statement

I have a strong interest in applying statistics, optimisation theory, and mathematical modelling to solve real-world engineering and operational challenges. I have developed practical experience through both university research projects and industry collaborations, including work related to airport operations and power system asset algorithm design.

My background also includes participation in mathematical modelling and robotics competitions, as well as tutoring students in both theoretical foundations and practical analytical tools. In addition, I am enthusiastic about communicating research outcomes and sharing insights in academic and public settings.
