Research Interests

Coming from a Marketing and Operations background, my research interests surround circularity, resilience, digitalisation and innovation in a supply chain context. I am particularly interested the competitive value of such operational activities and the capacity of this to drive realisation of sustainable development. I am the recipient of two ESRC InterAct grants, focused on topics of innovation and digitalisation, and I am currently working on projects related to circularity, localisation and open innovation in digital manufacturing.聽

I actively engage with industry throughout my research, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing and the food chain. I have worked with policy makers, contributing to efforts to develop initiatives for circular strategies in Scottish & EU Policy. Much of my research aligns with Sustainable Development Goals.聽
