Strathclyde Law School at the XVIII IWRA World Water Congress
Prof Francesco Sindico attended the in Beijing from 11 to 15 September 2023. He was invited to present the of which he is the International Scientific Committee (ISC) Co-Chair. The Congress will take place in the Faroe Islands from 4 to 6 September 2024. In addition to presenting the I IWRA Islands Water Congress in the closing ceremony, Francesco also participated as a speaker in a Special session on Groundwater governance and led a further special session titled 鈥淭he Management of Water on Islands: Unique Challenges or Common Opportunities?鈥�.
Law School alumni Dr Renee Martin Nagle, who completed her PhD in 2019 under Prof Sindico鈥檚 supervision, was a Co-Chair of the XVIII IWRA World Water Congress ISC, adding a further Strathclyde feeling to the event.
