The Maritime UK Awards
The Maritime UK Awards are open to companies from across the breadth of the maritime sector and its shipping, ports, services, engineering, and leisure marine industries. Hosted in Southampton in their inaugural year, the annual awards shine a spotlight on each of the UK鈥檚 thriving maritime regions. With the government having launched its first long-term strategy for the sector, , the award categories mirror its themes.
Eirini who works for Babcock International is over the moon with her award stating 鈥淚鈥檓 overwhelmed! It is fantastic to be nominated alongside such great candidates and I鈥檓 delighted to win. Through my work at Babcock and UKNEST, I鈥檓 really excited to engage and enthuse the next generation of engineers as well as taking on some truly exciting projects. I鈥檝e used my platform to share my story and am proud to help inspire future industry talent.鈥�
